Damola Olatunji is a Nigeria movie producer, actor and director whose roles are highly impeccable in the movie industry. He has featured in more than 100 movies since he debuted as an actor in the movie “Ojo (rain)”. He is one of the famous and popular in the yoruba movie industry.
Early Life and personality
Damola Olatunji is the second born of his family. The handsome actor hails from Edun Abon, a town close to Moro in Ife North Local Government in Osun State. His father was a civil servant while his mother (Ajibola Anike Olatunji) was a prophetess who taught him and his siblings to walk in the will of the Lord and also against women.
He had his Primary and Secondary School in Ile-Ife, after he proceeded to Yabatech in Lagos state for his tertiary education where he studied Engineering. He graduated from Yabatech with the degree of Electrical Engineering.
Damola Olatunji and Bukola Awoyemi
Damola married Raliat Abiodun-Olatunji in 2013 but their marriage only lasted for a year before he re-marry. He is now married to Bukola Awoyemi who is also an actress. Bukola Awoyemi who became popular due to her role in Tunde Kelani’s movie titled ‘Arugba’ was alleged of snatching the actor from his ex-wife which the actor explained that he fell in love with her naturally.
The married couple welcomed the birth of twins on the 3rd of January 2015 in USA under the guidance of qualified doctors and was named Dave and Debby. After two years of long maternity she returned fully back to acting.
Damola Olatunji started acting at a very tender age while in school he decided to join the drama group where he performed on stage plays.
He was later introduced to the movie industry and encouraged by a Nollywood Actor, Yomi Fash Lanso and got his first role in the movie ‘Ojo (Rain)’ produced by Opeyemi Aiyeola and directed by Yomi Fash Lanso.
The Movie ‘Ojo’ brought him into limelight and he is currently one of the sought after and famous actor in the movie industry.
